Model description:
The Boat Pochette is one of Gucci's most famous small bags and here showcases its eponymous shape, tapering towards the bottom with a wide top edge. The woven GG monogram in beige and brown runs across the surface, framed by dark brown leather piping on the sides and base. Centered on the front is a narrow metal plate with the Gucci lettering, above which a continuous zipper closes the main compartment. The flat leather strap is attached via two small metal sliders and is kept short so that the bag is worn close under the arm. Inside is a textile lining with an applied slip pocket.

Exterior (canvas/leather):
The GG canvas is clean and even, with a consistently vibrant pattern. There are minimal, flat discolorations on the back and underside that are only visible in direct light. The dark brown smooth leather on the piping and base edges is supple, evenly colored, and free of cracks.
Edges:
There is no edge wear. The leather piping runs cleanly throughout, the corners are firm, and the seams are fully closed.
Strap/shoulder strap:
The flat leather strap is in very good condition, holds its shape, and has no abrasion on the top. There are fine crease marks on the folds leading to the metal sliders, but the seams there are intact.
Interior:
The brown textile lining is very clean and well-maintained, without stains or abrasion. The applied slip pocket is completely intact, and both the embossed Gucci leather label and the number plate inside are clearly legible.
Hardware:
The silver-colored hardware – front plate, strap sliders, and zipper – is fully functional and shows only minimal, barely noticeable scratches. The zip pull has been replaced and therefore differs in shape from the original; it runs smoothly and sits securely.
