Model description:
The Gucci Abbey D-Ring presents itself in its classic, crescent-shaped hobo silhouette, which gives the model its distinctive line. The body is fully designed with the GG monogram, which creates a subtle depth effect through the matte-glossy texture of the nylon. Characteristic are the two flat leather handles, which are threaded through striking silver-colored D-rings and additionally fixed to the body with rivets. The length of the handles allows for comfortable shoulder wear, even over a winter jacket. The top edge is trimmed with leather, and the bag closes with a zipper. The spacious interior offers room for daily essentials and is equipped with an additional zippered pocket. A versatile, everyday-appropriate model that is particularly easy to combine due to its soft shape and understated color scheme.

Exterior (canvas/leather):
Very good vintage condition with only minor signs of age and wear. The GG nylon is evenly preserved across the surface and shows no holes, snags, or fading; the pattern is clearly and contrastingly visible throughout. No stains or discolorations are visible on the front or back. There are minimal, superficial signs of wear at the lower corners and along the side panels, which remain very subtle in the overall picture. The leather elements on the sides and at the top edge are supple and show occasional fine superficial scratches as well as slight darkening in places. The seams are completely closed and intact.
Edges:
Slightly worn due to age and wear. Fine signs of abrasion and slight darkening are present in places on the leather edges of the handles as well as along the leather trim. The edge sealing is mostly closed, showing minimal wear in individual sections. No open seams visible.
Strap/shoulder strap:
The two leather handles are sturdy, securely anchored, and capable of bearing weight. The grained leather is supple and has a beautiful patina due to wear. On the underside, occasional fine scratches and slight superficial shiny spots are present on the contact surfaces. Delicate signs of abrasion are visible in places at the transitions to the D-rings. The seams of the handles are completely intact.
Interior:
Very good condition. The textile lining is completely preserved, without tears, holes, or loose seams. There are only very slight signs of wear in the form of occasional fine fibers or minimal dust. No noticeable stains or discolorations visible. The Gucci leather label is well preserved and securely sewn in. The zipper of the interior pocket runs reliably.
Hardware:
The silver-colored hardware is completely present and functional. The D-rings and handle fittings show fine superficial scratches as well as slight matting in places due to age and wear. The rivets are all present and firmly anchored, with minimal signs of wear in places. The zipper is smooth and closes perfectly.
