Model description:
The Gucci Boat Pochette is one of the house's most famous small models and is presented here in the classic GG canvas version, combined with colored leather elements in vibrant raspberry red. Characteristic is the namesake, slightly boat-shaped silhouette with a narrow base and an upward-sloping contour. The body is fully designed with the GG monogram and trimmed with a narrow leather piping at the edges and on the base, which sets a clear color accent. On the front, the silver-colored Gucci logo plaque sits as the only decorative element – a deliberately understated look. The narrow leather carrying strap is attached with metal sliders on both sides and can be worn as a wrist or short shoulder strap. The closure is via a zipper at the top. The interior is kept tidy and offers space for the most important essentials. A timeless small model that gains a fresh, summery character through the colored leather contrast.

Exterior (canvas/leather):
Good vintage condition with traces of age and use. The GG canvas is evenly preserved across the surface and shows no holes or loose threads; the pattern is clearly and contrastingly visible on the front and back as well as on the base. No noticeable stains are visible on the canvas. The raspberry red leather piping shows traces of age and use: At the edges and especially at the corners, occasional lightening and punctual surface abrasion traces are visible, on individual sections in combination with a fine craquelé structure of the leather. Along the base edges, the friction points are slightly more pronounced. The beige contrast stitching is completely preserved and closed. The shape is stable, the seams are completely intact. Edges:
Worn due to age and use. Along the narrow leather piping, there are occasional fine abrasion traces as well as punctual lightening. At the corners and at the transitions to the strap attachment, the surface is slightly more stressed. The edge sealing is mostly closed; at individual sections, it shows punctual wear. No open or detached seams visible.
Strap/carrying strap:
The narrow leather carrying strap is stable, firmly anchored, and load-bearing. Due to age and use, occasional fine scratches as well as punctual small lightening and delicate craquelé lines are visible on the surface, especially at the bending points and on the contact surfaces. The color is evenly preserved in the overall picture. The decorative stitching of the strap is completely preserved, the seams are intact. The metal sliders of the attachment are functional.
Interior:
Good to very good condition. The dark green/black textile lining is completely preserved, without tears, holes, or detached seams. There are only slight traces of use in the form of occasional fine fibers or minimal dust. No noticeable stains or discolorations visible. The Gucci leather label is well preserved and firmly sewn in. The pocket is shape-stable.
Hardware:
The silver-colored hardware is completely present and functional. The logo plaque is firmly anchored and well preserved, with fine surface scratches due to age and use. The strap fittings and metal sliders also show punctual fine scratches as well as occasional slight matting of the surface. The zipper is smooth and closes perfectly.
