Model description:
This compact Gucci pochette features a clean, rectangular shape with a flat profile and understated design. The body is fully covered in the GG monogram and trimmed with a narrow leather piping that gives the bag structure and a clean finish. On the front, the stitched Gucci leather label with an embossed signature is the only decorative element – a deliberately minimalist look. The strap made of durable textile webbing is adjustable in length via gold-tone metal sliders and can be worn as a wristlet or a short shoulder strap. It closes with a zipper at the top. Exterior material (canvas/leather):
Good vintage condition with signs of wear due to age and use. The GG canvas is evenly preserved, and the pattern is clear and high-contrast on the front, back, and bottom. On the front, in the area above and around the leather label, there are occasional faint, age-related discolorations in the canvas. At the top right edge, at the transition to the strap attachment, there are superficially loose canvas threads – see detailed photo. The dark brown leather parts and piping are supple and show slight darkening in places as well as occasional fine signs of abrasion. The shape is stable, and the seams are completely intact except for the mentioned area.
Edges:
Abraded due to age and use. Along the narrow leather piping, there are occasional fine signs of abrasion and slight darkening. At the corners and upper edge areas, the sealing is slightly more worn in places. At the top edge in the area of the strap attachment, the trim is worn at one point – see detailed photo.
Strap:
The textile webbing strap is stable, securely anchored, and durable. Due to age and use, the fabric surface is slightly roughened in places with occasional protruding fibers, especially on contact surfaces. The color is evenly preserved. The leather end pieces at the attachment points show occasional fine signs of abrasion and slight darkening. The metal sliders for length adjustment are functional and hold the set length.
Interior:
Good to very good condition. The brown textile lining is completely intact, without tears, holes, or loose seams. Only slight signs of wear in the form of occasional fine fibers or minimal dust are visible. No noticeable stains or discolorations. The Gucci label is well preserved and securely sewn in. The slip pocket is shape-stable.
Hardware:
The gold-tone hardware in an antique finish is complete and functional. The metal sliders and fittings show fine superficial scratches due to age and use, as well as slight matting in places and occasional faint darkening – however, a matte surface is intended by the manufacturer for this design. The zipper runs smoothly and closes perfectly.
