Model description:
This compact Coach hobo features the flat-cut crescent shape typical of the Soho line, crafted from soft, heavily pebbled leather. Light contrast stitching runs along the front and back, highlighting the leather inserts at the top corners and the wide band at the base. Centered on the front is a leather tab with a large ring and an elongated brass lobster clasp bearing the Coach lettering in a small cartouche. The handle is attached via two sturdy brass rings and is long enough to carry the bag over the shoulder. The main compartment closes with a zipper featuring a long leather pull tab; the Coach leather label hangs from a brass ball chain at the right strap attachment.

Exterior (leather):
The pebbled leather is consistently supple, evenly dark brown, and free from stains or discoloration. The front and back are clean, and the pebbled texture is pronounced throughout; only fine, superficial signs of wear are visible in raking light. The light contrast stitching is fully intact, with no loose stitches.
Edges:
There is slight wear at the lower corners and along the base edge due to age and use; the leather is slightly darker in places. The base piping and side edges are intact, and the bag retains its shape well.
Strap/carrying strap:
The leather handle retains its shape and shows no tears or abrasion on the top. Fine signs of wear and creasing are visible at the attachment points below the brass rings, but these do not affect its stability.
Interior:
The dark brown textile lining is very clean and well-maintained, with no stains or abrasion. The zippered interior pocket with leather pull tab and the embossed Coach interior label are fully intact; the zipper runs smoothly.
Hardware:
The brass-colored hardware – rings, clasp, zipper, and ball chain – is fully functional. The elongated clasp shows slight, fine scratches on the underside; otherwise, there is only a minimal, age-related loss of shine.
