Model description:
The Batignolles Horizontal is a landscape-oriented shopper with a clean, slightly flared shape and open top. The classic Monogram pattern runs across the surface, framed around by Vachetta natural leather piping. Two long, flat leather handles are attached to solid D-rings and rest comfortably on the shoulder. On each side, a leather strap with a buckle adjusts the width. Inside is a spacious main compartment with a textile lining, zip pocket, and slip pockets.

Exterior (Canvas/Leather):
The Monogram canvas is in good overall condition, without tears and with a consistently strong pattern. There are slight to minimal discolorations that are not visible during everyday use. There are slight scratches in the lower area, which are also barely noticeable. The Vachetta leather has developed a strong, dark patina.
Edges:
There is wear on the leather piping and lower corners, where the leather has darkened and the edge is smoother. The seams are completely intact and the shape is fully preserved.
Strap/Shoulder strap:
The two leather handles are shape-retaining and fully load-bearing. They have developed a dark patina that matches the overall look of the bag and emphasizes its vintage character. The yellow decorative stitching is intact, and the D-rings are securely attached.
Interior:
The textile lining is in good to very good condition with slight discolorations and wear. The zipper runs smoothly, the slip pockets are undamaged, and the embossed date code is clearly legible.
Hardware:
The brass-colored hardware – D-rings, buckles, and zipper – is fully functional, finely patinated due to age, and has slight superficial scratches.
