Model description:
This Gucci Boston bag features the classic, understated box shape with a flat base and a zip closure running around the entire top edge. The front and back are made of black GG monogram canvas, with a tone-on-tone pattern that stands out subtly from the background; the side panels, base and edge piping are crafted from black grained calfskin. The two slim leather handles run across the front and back to just below the center, where they are secured with the signature hexagonal Gucci screws in gold-tone; at the top, they are attached to gold-tone D-rings. They are long enough to carry the bag over the shoulder. Inside is a spacious main compartment with a black textile lining and an open pocket.

Exterior (canvas/leather):
The black GG canvas is clean and well-maintained all around, and the pattern is consistently uniform; there are no stains or discoloration. The black grained leather on the side panels, base and piping is supple and colorfast, showing only fine, superficial signs of wear.
Edges:
On the upper edges of the canvas, at each end of the zip closure, there is minimal fraying of the fabric. The leather piping on the base and corners is completely intact, the seams are closed, and the shape is stable.
Strap/shoulder strap:
The two leather handles are in very good condition, hold their shape, and have no tears. There are slight signs of wear along the surfaces, and the attachments at the D-rings and the screwed ends are secure.
Interior:
The black textile lining is clean and well-maintained, with no stains. The open pocket is fully usable, and the zip closure around the entire length runs smoothly.
Hardware:
The gold-tone hardware – hexagonal Gucci screws, D-rings, and zip closure with leather pull tab – is fully functional. There are only superficial micro-scratches and a slight, age-related loss of shine.
