Model description:
The Abbey is one of Gucci's most famous shoulder bags and here showcases its characteristic, widely flared trapezoidal shape with a soft drape. The beige and ebony brown GG monogram canvas covers the entire surface, framed by cream-colored grained leather at the top edge, side edges, and base supports. The bag takes its name from the two large gold-tone D-rings, through which the slim leather handles are threaded and secured with decorative rivets. The handles are long enough to carry the bag comfortably over the shoulder. The open main compartment is lined with dark brown textile and features an interior zip pocket with a Gucci leather patch.

Exterior (canvas/leather):
The GG canvas is clean and even on the front and back, and the pattern is well preserved throughout. There are occasional small, age- and wear-related discolorations in the fabric on the side panels and in the lower area, which are barely noticeable in the pattern. The cream-colored leather trim and base supports are well cared for and show only a slight, even patina.
Edges:
There is slight, wear-related abrasion on the leather edges, especially at the lower corners and along the base supports. The edge paint is finely rubbed off in places, the seams are intact throughout, and the shape is stable.
Strap/shoulder strap:
The two leather handles are supple, hold their shape, and have no tears. There are age- and wear-related discolorations on the top, appearing as a slightly darker shade along the surfaces. The attachments at the D-rings are securely sewn and riveted.
Interior:
The dark brown textile lining is clean and well cared for, with no large stains. The interior zip pocket opens smoothly and is fully functional; the Gucci leather patch and the embossed interior label are present and clearly legible.
Hardware:
The gold-colored hardware – D-rings, handle loops, and decorative rivets – is fully functional and securely attached. There are only superficial micro-scratches and a slight, age-related loss of shine.
